Senior Electrical Engineer

POWER & INDUSTRIAL
- Electrical Engineering degree. More than 15 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in engineering project development
- Proven experience in electrical systems for Power Plants, industrial facilities and Balance of Plant (BoP), from conceptual engineering and FEED through detailed engineering
- Design and review of HV/MV/LV electrical systems, substations, and protection and control systems; electrical studies including Load Flow, Short Circuit, Protection Coordination and Arc Flash
- Preparation of technical specifications, requisitions and bid evaluations; management of Technical Queries (TQ) from clients and EPC contractors
- Participation in multidisciplinary reviews (IDC), interface coordination, 3D model clash resolution, and support during start-up and commissioning
- Proficiency in ETAP and AutoCAD; knowledge of IEEE, IEC and NEC standards. Valued: DIgSILENT PowerFactory and/or SKM
- Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage technical interfaces with clients and contractors, with sound engineering judgment
- Advanced English, spoken and written, is essential

BIM – Revit MEP Specialist

ENGINEERING & DESIGN
- BIM modeling of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations. On-site / hybrid
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical fields
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in BIM modeling with Revit MEP
- Proficiency in Revit and knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and resolution
- Experience coordinating MEP installations with architectural and structural models
- Modeling of mechanical, HVAC, piping, electrical, and cable tray systems, as applicable
- Production of engineering drawings, construction details and quantities from BIM models, applying BIM standards and quality control procedures
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation
- Valued: experience in hospitals, industrial facilities, Data Centers, or high-complexity buildings; knowledge of ISO 19650 and Autodesk Construction Cloud; previous experience with SmartPlant, AutoPLANT, or other 3D design platforms
- Technical English to understand engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications. A plus, not a barrier to apply
- Initial location: Bogotá. Open to other Tecnoconsult offices, to be coordinated with the relevant office

- Microsoft Office with advanced Excel. Intermediate to advanced English. Must reside in Caracas
