VINYLS PLANT

The plant was designed to produce vinyl chloride monomer from ethylene dichloride. The Ethylene dichloride production capacity is 150,000 MT/year via direct chlorination and 110,00 MT/year by oxychlorination. Vinyl chloride monomer production of 130,00 MT/year is obtained from ethylene dichloride cracking. The design basis developed by Tecnoconsult achieved the guaranteed process of the removal of the organ chlorides (ethylene dichloride) to the established permissible levels (19 ppm).
