REINSTRUMENTATION OF PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS AND ANALYZERS OF CRACKING PLANT, CARTAGENA REFINERY PROJECT

Tecnoconsult performed engineering, procurement and installation of a digital process control system and analyzers in the cracking plant to replace the existing pneumatic system.

The detail engineering was developed based on the existing basic engineering for the cracking plant, revised and adapted according to the current operating conditions. The scope included the assembly, supply, and installation, training, testing and start up of a monitoring, commanding and protective local panel for the FC-501 air blower at the Cartagena Reinery Craching Unit. The works involved the installation of instruments, piping, conduits and connections between the control room and the cracking and oil areas.
