History

Tecnoconsult has achieved numerous important milestones throughout its history, led by visionary management and a team of committed professionals. In 1967 it was the first engineering consulting firm registered in Venezuela when it started its activities in the electrical sector, later becoming the engineering leader in the oil, petrochemical, and energy sectors in the country.

Tecnoconsult was founded as a multidisciplinary company that grew steadily in the following years, gaining recognition and an excellent reputation for managing complex projects and as one of the few Venezuelan engineering and construction companies in the region.

During the 1990's Tecnoconsult initiated the use of electronic design; a major step forward in its technological platforms. Tecnoconsult developed their first 3D model in 1993 and the first fully electronic 3D project in 1994.

From initial international expansion, Tecnoconsult has activated operations through partnerships with leading multinational firms and offices in Santa Fe de Bogota, Colombia; Aberdeen, Scotland, in Baku, Azerbaijan and Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Global Work Integration methods were standard and became part of Tecnoconsult procedures in 2004, when it deployed the Collaborative Evolution Project. This project was completed in 2006 with the full implementation of a data center in a high-tech facility.

Today, Tecnoconsult is in the process of expanding its worldwide operations through its virtually linked offices in USA, Abu Dhabi, and Venezuela; with over 600 global staff members and updated technical and managerial capabilities to earn the trust of and support our existing and new clients in the years ahead.
