GURI HYDROELECTRIC PLANT UPGRADER – PHASE I Y II

The project of modernizing of the Guri Hydroelctric Plant was fundamental since it is the largest generation and transmission entity for the region. The main goal was to extend the life-cycle of the generation units as well as maintaining the continuity of the electric power production with high quality standards and competitiveness. The project involved the up-dating of technical documentation for electric, mechanic, civil and automation installations and the elaboration, revision, correction, and blueprints modifications of all disciplines. The project covered the technological rehabilitation and up-dating of diverse equipment and systems which are associated with Guri’s hydroelectric development machine house 1 and 2.
