AL KHAFJI FIELD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT PHASE I – ONSHORE FACILITIES

Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) awarded the contract to Athens-based Consolidated Contractors International Company (CCC) for the grass roots project Al-Khafji Field Development Plan, Phase-1, Onshore Facilities.

Tecnoconsult in a joint team with CCC, developed part of the project scope of work which included review of the FEED and development of the Basic Engineering provided, Detail Engineering and Procurement Assistance for the new facilities, as well as modifications to existing Onshore Facilities. Tecnoconsult personnel have participated in the Construction management, Testing and Commissioning and Start-up Assistance.

The facilities consist of the following five (5) main units :

1. Inlet Separator & Gas Reception
2. Gas Compression & Processing Facilities: LP Compressor, MP Compressor, Gas Lift Compression, Propane Compression, Gas Processing Unit
3. Flare System
4. Utilities & Offsite Units: Fuel Gas System, Instrument and Plant Air, N2 Generation System, Drinking/ Fresh Water System, Industrial Water System, Fire Water System, Diesel Oil Supply System, Hot Oil Supply System, Chemical Injection System, Power Supply System
5. Buildings and Others including Process Control System (PCS)

Plant Capacity: Oil: 300,000 BOPD
Gas: 120 MSCFD
